RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Partner for Indirect Materials
area.
·         
Effectively manage indirect Materials
for the company.
·         
Manage cost-effective
procurement of Goods & Services ensuring adherence to quality and
agreed timelines.
·         
Manage performance of the
vendors of Goods & Services ensure all the related issues are
effectively handled.
·         
Manage induction of new Vendors
for general and material purchase.
·         
Support in floating Policies and
SOPs related to Purchase.
·         
Effectively execution of the
role of Business Partner for Indirect Procurement and coordinating with
related functions.
·         
Responsible for all purchases of
goods & services to meet the requirements of the internal customers and
ensuring that quality of goods and services is maintained and timelines are
adhered to by the suppliers
·         
Maintaining liaison with the
Vendors and internal customers resolving the issues for expediting
deliveries and ensuring quality.
·         
Effectively Implement RFX,
Opportunity Matrix, benefit Log and other saving monitoring modules in
Indirect Procurement.
·         
Monitoring vendor performance
with respect to quality and timelines and evaluating their performance and
have dialogue with them for improvements
·         
Ensuring all company policies
and procedures related to Purchasing are adhered to and the procurement
process is running smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES


·         
Development and implementation of the HR strategy in the business
unit, aligned to the business objectives
·         
This position is responsible for managing the whole spectrum of the
Human Resource function including recruitment, compensation and benefits,
talent management, policies and procedures, performance management, Human
Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and
development, and organizational development.
·         
Be responsible for implementing Corporate HR Policies within the
Business Units.
·         
Be responsible in developing the headcount plan in respect of managers
and workers in consonance with the organization structure templates, job
classification and bands and in line with the business plans and budgets.
·         
Carry out monthly reviews of headcount and proactively plan for
recruitments in respect of employees including advance hiring for
anticipated contract terminations and attrition.
·         
Recruit for vacancies and anticipated vacancies ensuring compliance
with profile specifications. Coordinate with Head HR for salary approval
and appointment letters.
·         
Assist the HR Head in running the performance management programme
in respect of setting KRA’s, mid year and Annual appraisals including
dialogue with Business functional managers for calibrating relative
performance and ratings distribution.
·         
Ensure that employees are adequately trained to carry out their work
in a safe manner and are also trained to handle emergencies such as fires
and accidents.
·         
Plan for periodic medical checkups and diagnose accident reports and
illness statistics for preventive action.
·         
Ensure the contractual performance for housekeeping, security,
employee transportation and residence camps, including welfare measures.
·         
Maintain productive relationship with Labour, Health, Police, and
Municipality and provide for public relations support to the Business Unit.
·

RESPONSIBILITIES


·         
Lead the development and implementation of the Manufacturing
strategy in the business unit, aligned to the business objectives
·         
Ensure an efficient and effective operation in order to deliver the
defined strategy through a capable and motivated technical organisation
·         
Responsible for overall performance of Technical function (including
refining, manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and QSHE) within the
business unit.
·         
To develop an annual Factory plan with respect to capacities,
capital expenditure, new plant and machinery to ensure delivery of
production volumes at desired levels of cost efficiencies and product mix
in consonance with the annual business plan.
·         
For delivering forecasted and planned quantity of production outputs
SKU wise on a monthly basis ensuring market service levels as defined.
·         
For ensuring Quality Control & Assurance of RM/PM, In-process
and Finished Goods with accountability for cost of Poor Quality.
·         
For determining ways and means to drive cost efficiencies and bring
about overall reduction in the cost of production. To this end, ensure
appropriate use of costing systems, data and analyses.
·         
To improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
·         
To ensure machine up-time through planned shutdowns for preventive
maintenance and quick turnarounds of breakdowns.
·         
To ensure capacity utilization, line and labour productivity and
plan for capacity expansions ahead of need.
·         
To ensure Capex implementation as per budgets.
·         
To ensure that the factory team of managers and workmen are in a
state of high motivation as evidenced in their problem-solving approach,
willingness to stretch and willingness to collaborate with other teams.
·         
To ensure adequate pipeline of talent and skills for succession by
designing and activating a work force career path and plan in collaboration
with Unit HR
·         
To ensure high standards of Safety, Health, Hygiene and effluent
treatment. Eliminate occupational hazards and disease and ensure prime
health in the work teams.
