Our client in Malaysia is looking for Operation manager to operate their
Bird Nest Processing Centre business in Seremban, Malaysia.

Operations Manager - 1 person

Requirements:

Ideal candidate with right hands-on experience person in a large bird
nest processing centre who is able to hit the ground running and able to
do a good job.

He/she also a good problem solver and good motivator because he/she is
likely to encounter technical and personnel problems in the process of
starting up.

The operations is similiar in the large bird nest processing centres in
Indonesia. Out target initial output is 100 kg per month from the
centre, with a longer term output target of 500 kg per month.

It will start from scratch with an Operations Manager, and the
specifications for him/her are:

1. He/She must have been at the frontline, familiar with the
complete operations of a birdnest processing centre with output of at
least 100 kg per month in Indonesia.

2. He/She must be able to start up a cleaning centre from ground
zero and ramp up production quickly.

3. He/She will be responsible for the recruitment and training
of (local and foreign) workers for the processing centre.

4. He/She will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer
(CEO) of the company.

Contract duration is 2 years in the first instance. Person needed who
would be able to get the job (of starting up and running the processing
centre) done rather than someone who is always looking at the clock. At
steady state, the Operations Manager could be working from 8 am – 6
pm with a lunch break, and 6 days per week. Other terms and conditions
would follow the Malaysian practice. As an added incentive,
accommodation would be provided. Since the processing centre is expected
to grow with time, there will be development and promotion opportunities
for the manager.
